A tribute to Dirk Kuyts Liverpool career. The man has done much for this club in his 6 years of service. I hope we don’t see him go in the summer. He deserves more playing time then he is getting. Facebook: www.facebook.com Twitter: twitter.com Liverpool played Cardiff City today in the league cup final that would either give Liverpool their first trophy in 6 years or give Cardiff their first league cup trophy for decades. It turned out to be a crackingly close game in which there was no separation between the teams after 90 minutes. Martin Skrtel had the goal for LFC in the first 90 minutes. Going into overtime LFC got a solid go ahead goal in the 108th minute through Dirk Kuyt. It all looked like Liverpool were going to be cup champions through the extra time. Turns out Cardiff never said die and they were able to pull back a goal at the last in the 118th minute to send it to penalties. Steven Gerrard’s cousin was the man who missed the last spot kick to give Liverpool the trophy. Great job mates. This is the first of many trophies to come. YNWA
