Goal of the season by Raul Meireles

LFC Fans singing YNWA at Pavilion KL (LFC Asia Tour 2011)

Here are some (that being an understatement) fans singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” as we wait for Steve Clarke, Jamie Carragher, Raul Meireles, John Flannagan, Andy Carroll, Sotirios Kyrgiakos and Christian Poulsen (initially Maxi Rodriguez who, to the disappointment of the fans, didn’t show up) to arrive at a Standard Chartered sponsored event in Pavilion KL (15th July 2011). (Apologies for the shakyness, I was beyond excited myself!)

2010/2011 Premier League: Liverpool -vs- Sunderland 2-2

Throughout the 2010/2011 season, I will be making picture videos of every single Liverpool FC game. Whether it be Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League or Carling Cup, they will all be on my channel. Sadly due to copyright laws, it proves nearly impossible to post real match video on YouTube, but luckily for now, they can’t stop the pictures. In this tenth video, we look back at the Premier League game between Liverpool & Sunderland that finished 2-2. It was played at Anfield. Steven Gerrard’s equaliser rescued a draw for Liverpool in a rollercoaster game against a determined Sunderland. The Black Cats had controversially gone behind when Michael Turner was ruled to have taken a free-kick and Dirk Kuyt slotted in from a Fernando Torres pass. Darren Bent levelled with a penalty after a Christian Poulsen handball and the striker then powerfully headed in to give Sunderland the lead. But Gerrard nodded in from a Torres cross to salvage a point for the Reds. Daniel Agger should have grabbed a winner for the Merseysiders but he put a free header wide in injury-time. However, despite their late rally, Liverpool’s performance will do little to inspire confidence and lift the apathy that is engulfing the Anfield club after a drama-ridden encounter against the impressive visitors from Wearside. Sunderland beat Liverpool at the Stadium of Light courtesy of a Bent shot which went in off a beach ball, in a defeat that will still give Reds fans nightmares. This time Anfield was the

2010/2011 Premier League: Wolverhampton Wanderers -vs- Liverpool 0-3

Throughout the 2010/2011 season, I will be making picture videos of every single Liverpool FC game. Whether it be Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League or Carling Cup, they will all be on my channel. Sadly due to copyright laws, it proves nearly impossible to post real match video on YouTube, but luckily for now, they can’t stop the pictures. In this thirty-third video, we look back at the Premier League game played between Wolverhampton Wanderers & Liverpool. The game was played at Molineux in front of a boisterous 28869 crowd & ended in a 3-0 win for Liverpool. Kenny Dalglish earned his first victory since returning to the managerial helm at Liverpool as his side beat Wolves in a hard-fought game at Molineux. Fernando Torres tapped in from a pass by the impressive Raul Meireles to put the Reds in front after 36 minutes. Nenad Milijas had a promising effort saved for Wolves before Meireles struck a dipping 25-yard volley into the top corner of the net in the 50th minute. Torres completed the win in the last minute with another simple finish. Victory came in Dalglish’s fourth game back in charge and will increase the feel good factor he has engendered as he tries to rescue his team’s season. The manner and style of the win will also help raise Liverpool spirits as the energy and industry of Portuguese midfielder Meireles, which was so key to the win, was matched by the rest of the side. It earned revenge over Wolves, who had beaten a tame Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield in
